N/A.deal with the devil. after a turbulent downfall in his career, saeroyi searched for outside sources however he could to resurge his career. during his stint in rehab, he met a satanist who instructed him to turn to a group of witches who promised to restore his success at the expense of promising his soul to the devil. it was an easy bargain for saeroyi. nothing else matters more than his career. he became an incubus walking amongst humans, promising other souls to feed to his new owner.
001 : ready. at the age of fourteen, lee saeroyi was in his tiny apartment with his parents where they all shared a room. he spent most of his time recording beats and samples of him singing on an old macbook, uploading tracks onto youtube. it was all fun and games until a big time executive at UMG caught wind of his cover for an artist under their company. that began his journey with a manager and being pushed to the public.002 : set. everything was easy at first. his stage name became "roy lee" and with shaping up of his dancing and some vocal lessons, he was very popular with the teen crowd. not just in america, but globally. he was a teen heartthrob, releasing album after album and going on sold out tours.003 : go. aging in the spotlight wasn't easy though. there was no such thing as privacy. it was evident through pictures. roi was caught at clubs, parties, just about anywhere a sixteen year old shouldn't be.004 : glitch. soon after these scandals, roi was nowhere to be found. his company announced that he was on indefinite hiatus and that lasted up until he turned twenty one. but by this point, UMG dropped him as an artist and he claimed on his instagram, he'd move to korea to get back to his roots.

001 : restart. during his absence for five years, roi was in rehab for a harsh cocaine and MDMA addiction. his temper was so short all the time and he had enough public crashouts that couldn't be disguised as anything else anymore. rumors swirled that the child star, once beloved prince of pop, was becoming a problem. within this time, his family had ran his bank account dry and he had petitioned to get emancipated at the age of seventeen. it was swiftly approved and his new go to was his manager, who stuck with him through thick and thin.002 : part one. after a few unsuccessful attempts to stay clean and returning to rehab, he was finally freed at twenty one. roi knew he couldn't handle staying clean in the hollywood scene so his manager recommended going to korea. it'll be a fresh slate. a chance to start again and make his image up to whatever he desired it to be. less appeal to a younger audience and showing a more mature side of him. he rebranded from his stage name roy lee to just be roi.003 : part two. at first, it started with small roles in web dramas and single releases in korean rather than english. by some magic act of god satan, it's like no one in this new territory knew about the struggles he went through back home. all they could remember was his hits from back in the day. he had free range to make reinvent himself. it was all topped off with appearing on a reality dating show, where he was paired with his now pr wife, choi jihyo, since 2022. they were married on new years day of 2025.004 : part three. the doting husband has done notable things since his return to fame. he recently starred as the voice actor of jinu in the netflix hit movie, kpop demon hunters, and has released albums over the past few years, with his most recent one being a love letter to his youth and his wife. roi can't help but to shake the feeling like something is always missing, but he's sure that everything that's meant for him will be. there aren't anymore worries.
